The asbestos-cement coupling CAM-9 d-500 is used to connect pressure asbestos pipes to each other in order to build in this way a pipeline for various liquids, which can be supplied both under pressure and by gravity. Asbestos-cement couplings form a tight connection between pipes due to CAM rubber sealing rings of various diameters. Mounting of the coupling on the pipe is carried out using a special assembly grease, which facilitates the entry of the pipe into the coupling and, when solidified, serves as additional waterproofing.
