The cast-iron flanged valve 15kch19p, PPu16 Du32 is intended for pipelines transporting water, air or steam at temperatures up to 200° C (15kch19p), up to 225° C (15kch19p1 and 15kch19p2) and water at temperatures up to 50°C (15kch19r). Can be installed in any working position. They are connected to the pipeline using flanges, the dimensions of which are determined by GOST 12817-67. The working medium is fed under the spool. The body and cover are made of malleable cast iron.

The valve seal is provided by a ductile iron seat in the valve body and an O-ring on the spool. The gasket between the body and the cover is made of paronite, impregnated asbestos is used to stuff the stuffing box. Valves are tested for strength at test pressure ρpr = 2.4 MPa.

For valves 15kch19p, 15kch19p1 and 15kch19p2, the operating pressure is allowed up to Pp = 1.6 MPa at an operating temperature of the medium tp ≤ 200 ° C and up to ρp = 1.5 MPa at tp = 225 ° C.

For valves 15kch19r, pp=1.6 MPa is allowed at tp≤50°C. When tested for tightness, the valves must meet the requirements of the 3rd class of tightness in accordance with GOST 9544-60.
