Hot-rolled steel circle СТ.7Х3, size 6-450 mm, is tool steel. It is used for the manufacture of stamps and similar products. Sections of this grade are used for the production of tools for stamping, non-ferrous alloys and metals, when working at high temperatures, as well as for extrusion, forging or casting. Punches, dies and ejectors are very often made from this steel.

The most important characteristic of this metal is its durability and tempering stability. The steel is heat treated. Hardening is carried out at a temperature of 870 degrees, and tempering for two hours undergoes heat treatment with a mark of 500 degrees. Forging is carried out at a temperature of 1180 degrees. The main normative document describing the physical and chemical properties of the material is GOST 5950 2000. The hot-rolled circle 7X3 is not used for welding and is quite sensitive to flakes.
