Hot-rolled steel circle ST.SHKH15-V size 6-450 mm is a structural bearing steel. It belongs to the low-alloyed chromium type of long products. The main alloying element is chromium and carbon, additional ones are silicon and manganese. The metal is manufactured in accordance with GOST 801-78.

Circle st ShKh15-V refers to bearing steels. This is due to the main purpose. The main feature of metal is its high resistance to contact loads. Due to the presence of carbon and chromium, the wear resistance, hardness and depth of hardening of the material increase. However, this metal has its drawback - it is quite difficult to cut it.

Additional features of ShKh15-V include high hardness. It is equal to 61-63 HRC. Despite this indicator, excellent toughness, wear resistance and ductility remain after heat treatment. The steel is heat treated. Quenching is carried out at a temperature of 810 degrees, and tempering at 150 degrees.
