They are also subjected to ultrasonic testing, checking the chemical composition of the metal, checking the uniformity of wall thickness. The main features of HPC are resistance to high pressure manifestations and working loads in pipeline systems, resistance to rapid changes in temperature and pressure, resistance to high humidity.
Boiler pipes are used for the manufacture of heating elements, collectors, bypass sections, superheaters and tail heating surfaces of steam and hot water boilers.
In addition, boiler pipes are used in the installation of intra-boiler steam pipelines, condensate pipelines, superheated water pipelines, for piping deaeration plants and other boiler equipment operating at high pressures and temperatures. This material is successfully used for the manufacture and piping of oil refining equipment and the installation of technological pipelines in industry.
