Boiler steel pipe 76x8 TU14-3-460 is a high-pressure seamless steel pipe, which is made from a pipe billet for use in systems and installations operating under extreme pressure and temperature.

Carbon, low-alloy and high-alloy steels are used as raw materials for the production of such products. As the main grades of raw materials, steels ST 12X1MF, ST15GS, ST17G1S, ST15X1M1F, 15XM, ST20 and some others are used.

HPC is produced by hot deformation (hot-rolled, hot-pressed), cold and warm rolling. Due to the increased requirements for product quality, products of this kind, regardless of the method of manufacture and raw materials, undergo mandatory normalization or austenitization (thermal hardening) at temperatures from 680 to 1200 * C, as well as mandatory and additional tests. Products are subjected to additional tests by agreement between the customer and the manufacturer. Depending on the parameters (wall thickness, diameter, steel grade), products are necessarily tested for bending around the mandrel, flattening, expanding or bending the strip. They are also subjected to ultrasonic testing, checking the chemical composition of the metal, checking the uniformity of wall thickness. The main features of HPC are resistance to high pressure manifestations and working loads in pipeline systems, resistance to rapid changes in temperature and pressure, resistance to high humidity.

Boiler pipes are used for the manufacture of heating elements, collectors, bypass sections, superheaters and tail heating surfaces of steam and hot water boilers.

In addition, boiler pipes are used in the installation of intra-boiler steam pipelines, condensate pipelines, superheated water pipelines, for piping deaeration plants and other boiler equipment operating at high pressures and temperatures.
