The main grades used for rebar are:
Carbon steels: St3 (St3kp, St3ps, St3sp), St0, St5;
Low-alloy steels: 10G2S1, 15GS, 20G2R, 25G2S, 35GS, 22G2S, 28S;
Grades for thermomechanically hardened rebar: At1000, At600, At400, At1200, At500, At800;
The most popular rebar grades are: A300, A1000, A800, A400 (often 35GS, 25G2S), A500 (A500C), A600, A240 (smooth rebar, usually St3).
Standards for steel reinforcement vary by country. The main standards used for reinforcement are:
Ukraine (DSTU)
DSTU B V.2.6-156:2010 — Reinforcement with ribbed sections;
DSTU 3760:2019 — Reinforcing bars for reinforced concrete structures.
Europe (EN)
EN 1992-1-1 (Eurocode 2) — Design of reinforced concrete structures;
EN 13670 — Execution of concrete structures;
EN 10080 — Steel for the reinforcement of concrete.
International (ISO)
ISO 15630 — Test methods for reinforcement;
ISO 6935-1 — Plain reinforcement;
ISO 6935-2 — Ribbed reinforcement.
