Armox 600T 6mm, 8mm 25x30cm armor plates are used for the external lining of military equipment: tanks, armored personnel carriers. They can also be welded onto civilian vehicles that are modified for the military. The plates are used for body armor, but only after one of the batch has been shot through and checked, since the lives of soldiers depend on it. The plates have varying degrees of protection, depending on what caliber of bullet they can stop. They must all protect against shrapnel, at a minimum. When demining, sappers use special remote-controlled machines that are covered with such plates.
