Steel sheet (strip) steel 4X5MFS 70 * 600 * 5000mm is an alloy of copper and carbon. Depending on the quantitative content of these two elements, there is a varied number of brands. Steel grade 4X5MFS belongs to stamped tool steel. It is a high quality alloy that is the most resistant to shock loads and mechanical stress. This material is used to manufacture shaped and high-quality rolled products, silver bars, strips, polished and calibrated rods, forged blanks.

Steel grade 4X5MFS is thermally processed during production. This process improves the mechanical and technical properties of the material. Processing takes place in several stages. After passing them, the material becomes harder and more durable. The hardness of the alloy is 241 MPa.

Products, in the production of which steel 4X5MFS is involved, are actively used in modern industry. Here they are presented in the form:

molds for casting aluminum, magnesium and zinc alloys;

large press and hammer inserts,

small hammer dies.

The operating conditions of products from this alloy, as well as the exact chemical composition of the material, are prescribed in the standards GOST 5950-2000. The alloy contains 10 substances. The main ones are: chromium, molybdenum, silicon and vanadium.
