Steel strip 09G2S 18х105х3500 mm is a rectangular rolled metal product made of alloy or carbon steel. It is used in metal construction, mechanical engineering, construction and other industries. Hot-rolled steel strip is produced from blanks (slabs or blooms) by rolling at high temperatures. The main steps are as follows: the steel is produced in a converter or electric furnace, then cast into slabs. The slabs are placed in a furnace and heated to approximately 1100–1250°C to make the metal ductile. The heated blank is passed through rollers, reducing its thickness and stretching it into a long strip. The metal passes through several mill stands to achieve the desired strip thickness and width. The strip is cooled on roller tables (sometimes with water cooling), shaping the steel's structure. The material is cut into strips of the required length or wound into rolls, then straightened and quality controlled.

Main elements: Iron (Fe) - base, about 97-99%, Carbon (C) - ~0.05-0.30%, Manganese (Mn) - 0.30-1.50%, Silicon (Si) - 0.05-0.35%.
