Weighting agents, such as barite or hematite, are produced from ores: the raw materials are crushed, ground, and purified to remove impurities to achieve the desired density and particle size. Polymer components are synthesized chemically—by polymerizing monomers, followed by drying and granulation. Chemical additives (inhibitors, lubricants, antifoam agents) are produced in reactors where temperature, pressure, and composition are strictly controlled, after which the product is purified and packaged.
