Grade B xylene is more functional, it can be used to strengthen concrete structures, fill acrylic bathtubs. Due to its composition, it can dissolve vinyl, epoxy, acrylic, rubber.

In the production of the chemical industry. Xylidines, phthalic anhydride, terephthalic, isophthalic and phthalic acids, poly-p-xylylene are made from them.
