The composition is resistant to high temperatures, decomposition begins after 210°C. A precipitate may appear. Chemical formula -C2H4Na2O7P2Zn. HEDP is the result of the interaction of zinc oxide with the dipotassium salt of hydroxyethylidene diphosphonic acid in an aqueous medium.

Has a yellowish color or clear liquid. Refers to moderately hazardous substances. Non-flammable, non-flammable and non-explosive. Cannot withstand temperatures below -5°C.
