Basalt thermal insulation slabs are made on the basis of super-thin basalt fiber. The binder is bentonite clay. Basalt fiber is produced by a one-stage extraction method from a basalt melt with simultaneous treatment of the primary thread with special lubricants to give the thread elasticity and compatibility with various types of resins: epoxy, epoxyphenol, phenol-formaldehyde. Basalt fiber mats (MBTV) are canvases of fibers obtained from the melt of rocks of the basalt group, additionally stitched with roving threads and twisted into rolls. Basalt cord is made from natural raw materials - basalt rock, which does not contain harmful impurities and does not harm the environment. Long-length basalt pierced heat-insulating strips are made on the basis of super-thin basalt fiber in a fiberglass shell on both sides and pierced with glass fiber.
