Ceramic fiber board LYTX-1260 1200х1000х50 mm is a modern thermal insulation material made from lightweight aluminosilicate fibers pressed into a strong, rigid sheet. It can withstand temperatures exceeding 1200°C, exhibits high thermal stability, emits no harmful substances, and resists deformation. Due to its low thermal conductivity, the board is used in metallurgy, fireplaces, industrial furnaces, heating units, and boilers. The material is resistant to vibration and chemical exposure, and is lightweight, making it durable and easy to install.

First, a mixture of alumina and silica (aluminosilicate) is melted in a furnace at approximately 1800–2000°C. The melt is blown or centrifuged, turning it into fine fiber. At this stage, binders and reinforcing components are added. The resulting fiber is evenly distributed on a conveyor, forming a loose mat of the desired density. The fiber layer is placed in a press, where it is shaped into a board and the desired thickness. The boards are then dried in a drying chamber: the binder polymerizes, giving the board rigidity and dimensional stability. The finished sheets are trimmed and tested for density, heat resistance, and absence of defects.
Chemical composition
The most common composition is: SiO₂ (silicon dioxide) - 45-55%, l₂O₃ (aluminum oxide) - 40-50%, Trace oxides (Fe₂O₃, CaO, MgO, TiO₂) - 1-5%.
