Felt refractory mullitokremnezemisty MKRF-100

Refractory felt mullite-silica MKRF-100 is made of mullite-silica fibers, which is produced by melting pure aluminum and silicon oxides in an electric furnace, followed by fiber formation by blowing. To give the material strength and elasticity, an inorganic binder is added to the felt, followed by thermal strengthening of the material.

Zirconium or chromium oxides are added to the fiber to increase the temperature of felt application.

Roll felt is a fairly strong, flexible and technologically advanced insulating material. It can be easily cut, cut with a knife and cut out the necessary shapes, glued to a rigid substrate with inorganic adhesives or fixed with mechanical fasteners.
