Refractory slab mullite-silica SHPGT-450 500 * 500 * 100 is made of refractory fiber mullite-silica composition, which is produced by melting aluminum and silicon oxides in an electric furnace, followed by fiber formation by blowing.

To give the material strength, a clay binder is added to the fibers, the products are made by vacuum pressing, then fired.

ShPGT-450 slabs are a durable, easily processed structural insulating material that finds universal application in furnace construction. Plates are cut with a hacksaw, cut out the necessary shapes, glued with inorganic adhesives or fixed with metal fasteners.

When heated, the possible linear and volumetric shrinkage is minimal.
