Mullite-silica refractory slab MKRP-340 is made of refractory fiber of mullite-silica composition, which is produced by melting aluminum and silicon oxides in an electric furnace, followed by fiber formation by blowing. To impart strength to the material, a binder is added to the fibers, and the products are manufactured by vacuum pressing.

Plate MKRP-340 is a fairly strong and technologically advanced insulating material. Plates are cut with a hacksaw, easily cut, cut out the necessary shapes, glued with inorganic adhesives or fixed with metal fasteners.


When installing, take into account possible linear and volumetric shrinkage during heating.
