Polyimide film PM-A (without a sticky layer) is obtained by pouring polypyromellitic acid onto a forming surface followed by thermal imidization. The P-MA film has good physical characteristics and remains elastic over a wide temperature range. Oil-resistant, insoluble in organic solvents, moderately resistant to acids and alkalis, has high radiation resistance. Long-term operating temperature from -60 ° С to + 220 ° С, short-term 300 ° С. The material finds application in the electrical industry for phase and phase-to-phase insulation of machines, as well as electrical insulation of cables and wires, in aircraft construction, radio engineering, and other industries. The film is well metallized.
