Placeholder ZSHA is a specialized powder designed to protect against high temperatures. It is widely used in industrial construction and metallurgy. The mixture is based on refractory fillers such as corundum, quartz sand, or fireclay, as well as binders that ensure thermal stability and strength. After application and drying, the mixture forms a durable layer capable of withstanding temperatures of 1000–1700°C and higher. Thanks to their properties, refractory mixtures improve operational safety and extend the service life of equipment.

The main thing
View by manufacturing method
Refractory components are used initially: fireclay, alumina, quartz sand, and magnesite. The raw materials are cleaned of impurities, dried, and fired if necessary. The materials are ground to the desired particle size. This is important for the uniformity of the mixture and improves its properties. The ingredients are measured in strict proportions depending on the type of mixture. All components are thoroughly mixed in dry form, after which binders (clay, cement, liquid glass) and, if necessary, water are added. The mixture is brought to a homogeneous state to ensure even distribution of all particles. The finished dry mixture is packaged in bags and protected from moisture.
Chemical composition
The base consists of: silicon dioxide (SiO₂), aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), magnesium oxide (MgO), calcium oxide (CaO) and iron oxide (Fe₂O₃).
Type by purpose
Refractory mortars are used in applications where structures are exposed to high temperatures and open flames. They are primarily used in the construction and repair of stoves, fireplaces, barbecues, and chimneys—for masonry, sealing, and protecting seams. In industry, such mortars are indispensable in metallurgy, foundries, and the power industry. They are used for lining (internal lining) furnaces, boilers, fireboxes, and heating units to protect equipment from overheating and failure. Refractory mortars are also used in glass, ceramic, and cement production, where stable operation at extreme temperatures is required. In construction, they are used to fireproof walls, ceilings, and metal structures, improving the fire safety of buildings. Furthermore, such materials are used in domestic and repair work—for example, during the installation of furnace equipment or the restoration of damaged heat-resistant coatings.
