First, the base is selected: cold-rolled or hot-rolled steel sheet. Then special cuts are made on the sheet, after which it is mechanically stretched. This creates a cellular structure without metal waste. The size and shape of the cells depend on the machine parameters and product requirements. The resulting sheet is leveled and, if necessary, cut to the specified dimensions. The finished sheet is coated with a zinc layer using hot-dip galvanizing or galvanic methods.

Expanded metal sheets are mainly used in construction and in the production of metal structures for various purposes. Production of street stairs (steps and flights), since snow, dirt and water do not accumulate on them, and the surface does not slip even after rain. PVL sheet is used for the following tasks: Production of enclosing structures with decorative protective functions. These fences include garden fences, partitions, gates, and window bars. They are resistant to corrosion, and if desired, the products can be painted in any color. It is used in the manufacture of structural building elements such as stairs and railings, in outdoor enclosures such as fences and railings, in outdoor metal furniture, benches, and gazebos. PVL sheet is widely used in the interior, it can be, for example, office supplies (garbage baskets, pencil cups). Let's look at these broad possibilities in order. Very often there is a need to fill the space between the railings and the floor when constructing stairs. For these purposes, along with the use of plexiglass and perforated sheets, welded metal structures made from PVL sheets can be used.
