Rose alloy is almost identical to Wood's alloy, which is used for the same purposes, however, unlike the latter, it is less toxic (there is no cadmium in Rose), and therefore is quite suitable for work at home. Rose alloy is used for tinning and soldering. It is applicable for soldering contacts with high sensitivity to overheating, as well as for soldering copper alloys, copper-aluminum alloys. It is widely used in semiconductor technology, in the production of electrical aluminum fuses. Used for brazing nickel, bronze, brass with silver plated ceramic elements, jewelry, silver plated parts.
