Ferromanganese FMn95 is a type of manganese ferroalloys, with a mass fraction of manganese not less than 95%. In this alloy, the presence of slag or sand impurities is not allowed, only an oxide film and a trace of non-stick materials are allowed. Ferromanganese 95 is used for smelting stainless steel. Nickel is usually used for this, but this metal is quite expensive and is in short supply, so the use of a more affordable alloy is encouraged. Ferromanganese gives the finished product additional wear resistance and increases tensile strength.

Nitrided ferrovanadium is intended for alloying high-speed, low-alloy, stainless, frost-resistant steels with vanadium and nitrogen. Ferroniobium is used in the smelting of structural steel and heat-resistant alloys.
