First, a carbon steel rod is cut to the required length and cleaned of dirt, scale and grease. Then a mixture of fluxes, binders, arc stabilizers and alloying additives is thoroughly mixed until a homogeneous mass is obtained. After this, the rods are fed into a press extruder, where the coating is evenly applied to them. The electrodes are dried at a low temperature to remove moisture, and then fired in furnaces at 300-400 °C. Then the geometry, adhesion of the coating, humidity are checked, and welding tests are carried out for compliance with GOST or ISO.

Chemical composition

High-purity molybdenum with a content of the main element of at least 99.95%. As well as minor impurities of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, iron, aluminum, nickel, silicon, magnesium and sodium.

Type by purpose

Electrodes are used in welding critical structures to obtain rigid connections. They are suitable for working with carbon and alloy steel. Electrodes with cellulose coating (C) are characterized by arc stability and are suitable for operation at any current and in all spatial positions. Used to supply current to the material being welded. The quality of the weld depends on the electrode and the method of movement during welding. Electrodes are used for the manufacture of welded-cast structures. This method is used to make a metal seam using nickel, iron-nickel or some other alloy. When using the cold welding method and surfacing cast iron materials, minimal heat input occurs.
