Molybdenum sheet 0,3х150х550 mm - is a metal material created from pure molybdenum or its alloys. It has high strength and corrosion resistance, temperature resistance, which makes it in demand in metallurgy, vacuum technologies and the electronic industry. Due to the low coefficient of thermal expansion and high thermal conductivity, they are used in the creation of furnace elements, semiconductors and heat-protective screens. Due to its refractoriness, molybdenum is resistant to deformation when heated. It is also perfectly processed and compatible with other refractory metals.

Molybdenum is a soft, ductile, shiny, silvery-white transition metal.

Production begins with the reduction of molybdenum oxide with hydrogen at high temperatures, resulting in pure metallic molybdenum powder. The powder is pressed into blanks, which are then sintered in a vacuum or hydrogen furnace at a temperature of about 2000 °C. This gives the material density and strength. The sintered blanks are hot forged, then hot and cold rolled. This allows you to get sheets of the desired thickness, and also improves the structure of the metal and its mechanical properties. To relieve internal stress and improve ductility, molybdenum sheets are heat treated (annealed) in a vacuum or inert atmosphere. The finished sheets are cut to the required dimensions and undergo quality control.
