It is manufactured by cold stamping a solid sheet of metal without waste. A solid sheet of metal is used - most often steel, galvanized steel, aluminum or stainless steel. The sheet is installed in a special punching press equipped with knives and dies. The machine makes cuts (punches) in the sheet. At the same time, it stretches it, creating diamond-shaped cells. The sheet is lengthened and becomes embossed, and the holes are obtained without residual material - it is not cut out, but stretched. Sometimes the mesh is passed through straightening machines to eliminate bends. To protect against corrosion, the mesh can be additionally processed.
