Structural aluminum profile SAP1515-G6-T1 1000 mm is a versatile structural material commonly used in furniture manufacturing, design, and construction. It is produced using an extrusion process, in which a heated aluminum alloy is forced through a die to form a specific cross-section. The main advantages of aluminum extrusion are durability, high strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance. The material is easy to join, cut, and process, and can be finished in a variety of ways, including polishing, painting, and anodizing. These properties make aluminum extrusion suitable for both decorative and load-bearing applications.

First, an aluminum alloy is taken. Then the aluminum is melted and cast into blanks—ingots (blanks). The ingot is heated to approximately 450–500°C. The heated blank is pressed through a die—a steel mold with the desired cross-section. The resulting product is a long, continuous "ribbon" of profile. The profile is immediately cooled. To ensure strength, the profile is maintained at a specific temperature. The profile is cut to the required length and, if necessary, anodized, powder coated, ground, or polished.

Chemical composition

Contains up to 99.3% percent aluminum., the rest is alloying elements - manium and silicon, as well as impurities of iron, manganese, titanium and zinc.
