First, a blank is smelted from the aluminum raw material — a rectangular ingot. Then the ingot is heated to a temperature of about 500°C and rolled between shafts, gradually reducing the thickness to the state of a hot roll. The resulting hot-rolled roll is cooled and can then be cut or sent for further processing. After this, cold rolling is used, improving the accuracy of dimensions and surface quality. Finished sheets are cut to size, can be anodized to increase corrosion resistance or coated with a film.
