Brass circle L63 35 mm is a round rod made of brass, an alloy of zinc and copper. It is characterized by good machinability, strength and corrosion resistance. Due to these properties, circles are widely used in the production of plumbing, mechanical engineering, construction and decorative products. Circles are produced in various diameters and can be additionally alloyed to improve their characteristics. They are easy to machine, polish and solder, which makes them a universal material in industry and everyday life.

View by manufacturing method
First, copper is melted in a smelting furnace, then zinc is added (and, if necessary, other alloying elements, such as tin or lead). The molten brass is then poured into a mold to produce ingots or cylindrical blanks (piglets). After cooling, the blanks are ready for further processing. The blank is heated to a high temperature and passed through rolling mills, forming a round rod of the required diameter. Sometimes forging or pressing through a die (extrusion) is used. To achieve higher dimensional accuracy and improve mechanical properties, brass is additionally rolled in a cold state. Finally, the long brass rod is cut into circles of the required length. Turning is also possible if disks or washers are needed.
Chemical composition
LS59 1 in composition: copper (Pb) - about 57-60%; zinc (Zn) - about 37.35-42.2%; iron (Fe) - up to 0.5%, L63 is a two-component alloy, including 34.22-37.5% zinc (Zn) and 62-65% copper (Cu), as well as no more than 0.5% impurities, LZhMts 59-1-1 - multicomponent iron-manganese brass, 59% copper, 39% zinc, there are additional alloying elements 1% Fe and 1% Mn.
Type by purpose
Brass rods, due to their properties, have a fairly wide range of applications. They are used in the field of mechanical engineering (in particular in the production of cars), instrument making, aviation, space, construction, chemical industry (chemical equipment sleeves), electric power industry, and in the production of watch movements. Hardware products, fittings, equipment parts and bushings, fittings for pipelines, and decorative structures are made from a brass circle (rod). Brass circles are also actively used in the production of manometric and condenser pipes, printing matrices, electromechanical installations, piston machines and gas reducers. They are used for the production of sliding and friction parts with relative corrosion resistance, by turning round blanks on lathes or other metalworking equipment
