First, the titanium casting is processed into rods or bars. This is done by hot rolling or forging at high temperatures. The bars are then repeatedly drawn through dies, gradually reducing the diameter to the desired one. This process is accompanied by intermediate annealing to relieve internal stress and maintain the plasticity of the metal. After this, the wire surface is cleaned, sometimes polished, and quality control is mandatory.
