Brizol

Brizol is a baseless roll material produced by rolling and subsequent calendering of a mixture consisting of petroleum bitumen, crushed rubber (from cushioned tires), asbestos and a plasticizer, used for roofs.

brand Br-S is used at air temperature from 30 to - 5 ° C,

brand Br-P - from 45 to -15 ° С.

Brizol brand Br-P can be used at ambient temperatures up to -25 ° C, provided that it is stored until the moment of use in a room with a temperature of 20 ... 25 ° C.

The brizol web must be cooled to a temperature of 20±2°C before being wound on the core.

The inner surface of the brizol web should be evenly powdered with finely divided dry mineral powder (chalk, limestone or asbestos), which should not prevent the brizol from sticking to the bituminous mastic. The fabric of the brizol in the roll should not be stuck together, the rolls should be tied with twine.

Brizol rolls should be transported in closed wagons or other closed vehicles in conditions that protect the material from the effects of precipitation and heating by sunlight.

During transportation and storage of brizol, the rolls are installed on the end in two rows in height. When installing a deck for installing the second row of rolls, the deck should not rest on the bottom row of breezol rolls.

Rolls of brizol should be stored separately by brands indoors. For short-term storage (at the work site), they must be covered with a tarpaulin or roofing material.
