First, the rubber is placed in a mold, and the vulcanization process occurs—heating the mixture to a specific temperature (usually around 150-200°C) with the addition of sulfur. After vulcanization, the rubber takes the desired shape. The bumper can be made as a strip, rectangle, corner piece, or other design, depending on its intended use. After the bumper is removed from the mold, it is cooled to room temperature.

Chemical composition

The main ingredients that may be included in the composition of rubber for fenders include: synthetic rubber, sulfur, carbon, elastics, antioxidants and antisulfurs, pigments and dyes, polyphenyl ethers or silicone additives.

Used to protect vehicles, walls, columns, and other objects from damage during parking or maneuvering, it is an essential infrastructure element ensuring safety in parking areas, garages, warehouses, and other locations where vehicles may accidentally collide with obstacles. Rubber bumpers soften impacts and prevent scratches and damage to the vehicle body when parking or maneuvering in tight spaces. Installing rubber bumpers on walls or columns can prevent damage to building structural elements. This is especially important in underground and multi-level parking structures, where vehicles can frequently hit walls or columns.
