Type by purpose

Caprolon is widely used in mechanical engineering and shipbuilding as bearings, gears, bushings, shafts, and rollers. Products made from caprolon replace bronze, brass, and babbitt. Caprolon successfully combines high mechanical strength with elasticity over a wide temperature range. Products made from caprolon are erosion-resistant; work well in fuels and lubricants, in sea water, in organic solvents, in alcohols, alkalis and diluted acids. Parts made of caprolon are durable and absorb shock loads remarkably, which is why they are used for the manufacture of trolleys, housings of various mechanisms, gearbox drives, conveyors, hubs, gears, sprockets and many other units in which there are shock loads on the product body or elements. Possessing a low coefficient of friction, products made from Polyamide are quickly and easily installed instead of steel and bronze parts.
