Fluoroplastic tourniquet, square 8х8 mm is a universal sealing material made from polytetrafluoroethylene. First, PTFE powder, which has high purity and stable properties, is prepared. The powder is pre-compacted and drawn. The material is formed into a long, flexible filament or strip. The blank is then heated to a temperature at which the PTFE particles fuse more tightly, forming a strong structure. After sintering, the bundle is cooled and shaped to the desired diameter. The finished bundle is rolled into coils and prepared for use.

Fluoroplastics include polytetrafluoroethylene - fluoroplast-4, polytrifluorochloroethylene - fluoroplast-3, polyvinylidene fluoride - fluoroplast-2, as well as copolymers of ethylene fluorine derivatives with fluoroolefins, ethylene and others.
