The sheet is manufactured by casting or pouring the elastomer into a mold. The process begins with mixing the two main components—polyol and isocyanate. Catalysts, plasticizers, dyes, and other modifiers are added to the mixture to achieve the desired material properties. After thorough mixing, the reaction mixture is poured into a prepared metal or silicone mold. Polymerization then occurs: the mixture is heated or left at room temperature to harden. After curing, the sheet is removed, mechanically processed (cutting, grinding), and, if necessary, further heat-stabilized.
