First, a silicone mixture is prepared: hardeners, pigments, and special additives that enhance resistance to high temperatures and chemicals are added to the base silicone rubber. The mixture is then fed into an extruder, where a tube of the desired diameter and wall thickness is formed under pressure. To increase strength, a reinforcing layer—polyester or aramid fabric—is often added to the inside of the hose. In multilayer hoses, the extrusion and reinforcement process is repeated several times. After forming, the hose undergoes vulcanization (heat treatment), which completely polymerizes the silicone and achieves its working properties. The product is then cooled, cut to the required length, and undergoes quality control, including testing for leaks and resistance to pressure and temperature.

The chemical composition is based on silicone rubber. Its base is a polymer with a silicon-oxygen chain: –[Si–O]ₙ–. The main components of silicone hose are: silicone rubber, hardeners, reinforcing fillers, a reinforcing layer, pigments, and stabilizers.
