Textolite rod is an electrical insulating polymer obtained by pressing under heat and subsequent winding. Textolite (rod, in sheets and plates) is a layered plastic that consists of base fibers (cotton fabric, fiberglass, etc.) and impregnation with a thermosetting composition. Layers of impregnated fabric are combined during pressing, and the rods are obtained by twisting and additional pressing.
