This material consists of two components: base and impregnation. The basis is fiberglass in a roll with a width of 98 to 1500mm with high tensile strength, and the impregnation is electrical insulating varnishes, which impregnate the cloth. Varnishes impart dielectric properties to fabrics.

The base is created by weaving and fusing fiberglass threads - they are strong (with their thinness) and have high thermal stability. Further, a polymer oil impregnation is applied to this fiberglass base, which, when solidified, forms a smooth and plastic film with a "grid" of fiberglass inside.

Glass-lacquered cloth is needed for the assembly and repair of various devices powered by electricity, and related to heat resistance to class C- (120 ° C). This marking means that these devices do not create a temperature rise above 120 degrees Celsius during operation, since LFM glass fabrics are designed to perform their functions only up to this temperature threshold.
