Frost-resistant conveyor belts, as well as general purpose belts, are used in medium, heavy and very difficult working conditions. Their main purpose is the transportation of all kinds of piece, loose, lumpy materials, in particular, logs, soft and hard rocks, as well as ores of non-ferrous and ferrous metals, at low temperatures (up to -60 ° C). Depending on the operating conditions, the following types of frost-resistant conveyor belts are produced:

Type 1.2M according to GOST 20-85-Frost-resistant, for severe operating conditions at temperatures from -60°С to + 65°С. Transportation of limestone, dolomite in pieces up to 500 mm in size, ores of ferrous and non-ferrous metals in pieces up to 350 mm. and other large-sized materials, logs up to 900 mm in diameter, coal in pieces up to 700 mm. and rocks in pieces up to 500 mm.

Type 2LM according to GOST 20-85-Frost-resistant, for light operating conditions at temperatures from -60°C to + 65°C. Transportation of low-abrasive materials, non-abrasive small, loose and packaged materials.

The design of the traction frame of a frost-resistant rubber-fabric conveyor belt includes: from 2 to 6 pads of EP 200-400 fabric, consisting of polyamide and polyester fibers, as well as rubber layers that increase the elasticity of the conveyor belt.
