First, polymers (rubber), carbon black, plasticizers, sulfur vulcanizers, and antioxidants are thoroughly mixed. The mixture is then extruded, forming a tube of the desired diameter. A textile or nylon layer is added for strength. The product is heated under pressure (up to 180°C) to achieve a stable shape and elasticity. After this, the tubes are cut, marked, and tested for leaks and heat resistance.

Chemical composition

The hoses are made of EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene monomer). Chemical composition: ethylene — C₂H₄, propylene — C₃H₆, dienes (e.g., ethyldenorbornene, ENB) — C₉H₁₂, additives — carbon black, plasticizers, sulfur vulcanization, antiseptics, and antioxidants.

Their primary function is to ensure continuous circulation of the coolant, removing excess heat from the cylinder block and engine head. The hoses maintain the engine's optimal operating temperature, prevent overheating, and ensure stable operation of the cabin heating system. Furthermore, the hoses dampen vibrations, compensate for pressure fluctuations and thermal expansion, maintaining tight connections. The longevity and reliability of the entire cooling system directly depend on their quality.
