A heat-resistant steam hose (flexible hose) consists of an inner heat-resistant rubber layer, several layers of a textile frame and an outer rubber layer.

Sleeves of class PAR 2 must additionally have one layer of fabric "breaker" on the inner rubber layer and under the outer rubber layer.

The steam hose is reinforced with a strong and elastic fabric braid, which makes it resistant to damage from stretching and compression. Resistant to abrasion, weathering and UV light. Frost resistant. The standard does not apply to hoses for gas welding and metal cutting, hoses for cars, tractors and agricultural machinery and hoses for special purposes
