Reinforced rubber GOST 7338-90 are intended for the manufacture of industrial rubber products that serve to seal fixed joints, prevent friction between metal surfaces, for the perception of single shock loads, as well as gaskets, flooring and other non-sealing products.

TYPES of rubber and rubber-fabric plates:

I - rubber plate;

II - rubber-fabric plate with one or more fabric layers. The number of fabric layers is determined by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, taking into account that for every 2 mm of the plate there should be no more than one fabric layer.

Different types of MBS rubber plates are obtained through different production methods. Thus, molded rubber is vulcanized on a vulcanization press directly in molds, which determine the dimensional parameters of the sheets. To obtain non-shaped technical plates (in rolls), the mixture is squeezed out through a die. Then it is vulcanized in a continuous vulcanizer or in boilers, without molding.

This material is the basis for the production of rubber goods sets. In particular, protective rings and cuffs are cut from technical plates of this type using special machines.
