First, the raw materials—iron, scrap, and alloying elements (chromium, nickel, molybdenum)—are melted in electric arc or induction furnaces. Chromium forms a protective oxide film that prevents the steel from rusting. The melt is purified of impurities (sulfur and phosphorus), its chemical composition is adjusted, and it is brought to the required strength and corrosion resistance standards. The liquid metal is poured into blanks—blooms or ingots—which are then cooled. The blanks are heated and rolled through rollers, forming rods of the required diameter. This process creates a ribbed surface for improved adhesion to the concrete. If necessary, the rebar is hardened or tempered to increase strength. The finished products are cooled, cut to length, and tested for strength, ductility, and compliance with standards.

Main elements: Chromium (Cr) - 10.5-18%, Nickel (Ni) - 8-12%, Molybdenum (Mo) - 2-3%, Carbon (C) - up to 0.08%, Manganese (Mn) - up to 2%, Silicon (Si) - up to 1%

Used in the construction of bridges, overpasses, tunnels, and parking lots. It is particularly relevant in regions where de-icing salts are used and in coastal areas. It is used in dams, piers, swimming pools, treatment facilities, and reservoirs. Constant contact with water requires increased corrosion resistance. It is used in chemical, energy, and processing plants where concrete is exposed to aggressive substances and temperature fluctuations. It is also used in underground parking garages, high-rise building foundations, basements, and other structures with high durability requirements.
