Brovary stainless steel sheet mirror in a film, polished, matte, stainless steel sheet food service and technical equipment, perforated sheet, corrugated, perforated (PVL), decor, brass plated in gold
The sheet corrosion-proof mirror belongs to decorative metal rolling. Products are widely in demand in many areas of life and production due to their unique qualities.
Mirror stainless steel is used in the manufacture of equipment and products intended for operation in a moderately aggressive working environment, has a good ability to deform and deep drawing. The operating temperature range of steel is from -40 to 800°C.
The mirror surface of the stainless steel sheet has maximum reflective properties. This is obtained as a result of careful double-sided or single-sided surface finishing of cold-rolled stainless steel sheets. Processing takes place with the help of abrasive particles of different grain sizes. Polishing with diamond pastes with a grain size of 7/3 to 1/0 is common. The latter eliminates all microroughness and creates a mirror surface.
Benefits of Mirror Roll
Stainless steel mirror sheets are distinguished by:
Increased strength;
Resistance to atmospheric, corrosive influences;
Resistance to temperature changes;
wear resistance;
Good reflectivity;
Heat resistance and fire safety;
Aesthetic appearance;
Long service life.
Rolled metal is not affected by many adverse factors and is used as a constructive or decorative material.
Types of decorative sheets with a mirror surface
Depending on the degree of surface treatment, stainless steel mirror sheets can be divided into the following types:
Matte mirror - the initial stage of finishing. The rental does not have a special gloss, small defects may occur on the surface of the canvases.
Reflective – A smooth surface is highly reflective, but the image is not very clear.
Supermirror - perfectly processed metal practically does not differ from glass mirrors.
Sheets are processed by abrasive grinding, polishing, oxidation, etching. The surface finish is made with cotton, felt nozzles. The coating during operation does not become cloudy, does not darken.
Manufacturing guidelines
Mirror stainless steel sheets are produced by cold (GOST 19904-90) or hot (GOST 19903-2015) rolling.
Geometric dimensions of hot-rolled products:
Thickness - 0.4-160 mm;
Width - 50-440 cm;
Length - 0.71-12 m.
Parameters of cold-formed sheets:
Thickness - 0.35-5.0 mm;
Width - 50-235 cm;
Length - 1-6 m.
They are also divided into thin (0.5-3.9 mm, GOST 5582-75) and thick (4-50 mm, GOST 7350-77).
Application area
Mirror stainless steel sheets are successfully used in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries. They are actively used in construction, architecture and design.
Supermirrors are in demand in the manufacture of equipment, tools for medicine, food industry. They are used in interior design, for outdoor advertising.
Rolled metal of this type is used in the creation of various structures, the production of fencing elements, utensils, housings of household appliances.
Options for using mirror stainless steel
The scope of this type of rolled metal is quite wide. In our catalog you will find stainless steel sheets with a mirror surface for such purposes:
production of rolled pipes;
the needs of the advertising sector;
production of household and industrial equipment;
furniture production;
construction needs;
use in the decoration of building elements and small architectural forms.
Sheets resistant to oxidants and high temperatures with a surface treated to a mirror finish are used as a constructive and decorative material. By oxidation, etching, it is possible to obtain products with imitation of precious metals, iridescent color.
Sheet metal with a polished surface has a good reflective ability, corrosion resistance is higher than that of matte counterparts. The coating does not become cloudy and does not darken during operation, the material is durable for wear, easy to install, characterized by heat resistance and fire resistance.

Characteristics of mirror sheets
Reflective ability is achieved by special surface treatment. Polishing with abrasive materials eliminates defects arising fromin the manufacture of cold-rolled steel.
For the production of mirror sheets, high-alloy steels are more often used: AISI 201 (12X15G9ND), AISI 304 (08X18H10), AISI 430 (12X17). The thickness of the metal is limited to a range of 0.5 to 3 mm. The physical and mechanical properties of the products depend on the chemical composition of the alloy; processing does not affect the strength and ductility.
The blasting category is classified by reflectivity:
2B - matte mirror, small scratches and marks from rolling mills are allowed on the glossy surface, the surface is not additionally processed;
BA - stainless sheet, fuzzy reflecting objects, smoothness is achieved by grinding and polishing;
2R - rolled products that have passed the procedure of vertical annealing in an ammonia environment;
N8 - a supermirror with a reflective surface, the annealed sheet of category 2R is additionally ground and polished.
Finishing abrasive processing is carried out with felt or cotton nozzles, it is possible to achieve a reflective ability like that of a glass counterpart.
Regulations
The chemical composition of the alloys, the amount of impurities correspond to GOST 5632-2014. Sheet steel is produced according to the specifications set out in the interstate standard 5582-75. The range of cold-rolled steel is regulated by the requirements of GOST 19904-90. Foreign brands of products are subject to standard specifications EN 10088 and ASTM A240 / A240M.
The use of polished stainless steel
Polished sheets are used for facade decoration, interior design of public buildings. Smooth rolling is necessary for the manufacture of technological equipment, to which increased hygienic requirements are imposed.
Fittings, decorative elements for land, air and water transport are made from flat stainless steel with a mirror surface. From food metal - cutlery, household items.
