Vermiculite plate PVN-O 700 40х1000х1200 mm is a fire-resistant thermal insulation material created using mineral binders and expanded vermiculite. It is highly resistant to temperatures up to 1100–1200°C, lightweight, and has low thermal conductivity. The board is safe for use in residential buildings, does not emit toxic substances when heated, and is non-flammable. Its porous structure also provides sound insulation and retains heat well. Vermiculite boards are easy to install without special tools, and are easily processed and cut. They are widely used in industrial equipment, construction, and for insulating chimneys, fireplaces, boilers, and furnaces.

The slabs are produced by hot pressing of semi-dry mass in accordance with TU U V.2.7-26.8-31101383-002-2002. MKRV shaped products of complex shape are made from materials using refractory fiber of mullite-silica composition, which is produced by melting aluminum and silicon oxides in an electric furnace, followed by the formation of fiber by blowing. To give the material strength, inorganic and organic binders, fire-resistant fillers and additives are added to the fibers. Products are formed by vacuuming, vacuum pressing, vibration casting, stuffing and others. MKRV-340 inserts are made of refractory fiber of mullite-siliceous composition, which is produced by melting pure aluminum and silicon oxides in an electric furnace, followed by the formation of fiber by blowing. To give the material strength, an organic binder is added to the fibers, and the products are formed by vacuum pressing.
Chemical composition
The chemical composition of vermiculite board is based on the natural mineral vermiculite and inorganic binders. Generally, it looks like this: silicon dioxide (SiO₂) — ~35–45%, magnesium oxide (MgO) — ~20–30%, aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) — ~10–15%, iron oxide (Fe₂O₃) — ~5–8%, potassium oxide (K₂O) — ~3–6%, calcium oxide (CaO) — ~1–3%.
