Tungsten sheet VA 0,85х400х800 mm - is a thin rolled metal with one of the highest melting temperatures (3422 ° C). Due to corrosion resistance, strength and refractoriness, sheets are used in the chemical, aerospace, metallurgy and electronic industries. They are produced by pressing tungsten powder, sintering, cold and hot rolling. Depending on the area of use, both alloyed - with additives of potassium, rhenium and lanthanum, and pure tungsten sheets can be used to improve certain properties, such as plasticity or heat resistance.

Under normal conditions, tungsten is a hard, heavy, shiny metal with a silvery gray color.

First, tungsten powder is placed in a mold and pressed into briquettes. The briquettes are then heated in a vacuum or in a hydrogen atmosphere at a temperature of about 2000–2200°C. This causes the particles to sinter into a solid blank. The blank is then heated to a high temperature (about 1500–1800°C) and rolled, reducing the thickness. This is done in stages, with intermediate annealing. After hot processing, the sheet is additionally rolled at room temperature to achieve the desired thickness and surface quality. Annealing is carried out to relieve stress and improve the sheet's ductility. The finished sheets are cut to the required dimensions, ground, polished, or chemically treated to improve the appearance and dimensional accuracy.
