Polycrystalline ferrites are produced using ceramic technology. Ferrite powder, synthesized from a mixture of initial ferrite-forming components and granulated with a binder, is pressed into products of the desired shape, which are then sintered at temperatures from 900 to 1500 °C in air or in a special gas atmosphere. Mixtures of oxides, hydroxides, oxalates and carbonates are used as initial ferrite-forming components.
