Carbon tube 3K plaine, polished, varnished 6х7х1000 mm is a modern structural element created from a polymer matrix and carbon fiber. It boasts high strength, low weight, durability, and corrosion resistance. Due to these properties, carbon fiber tubing is often used in robotics, construction, aviation, sports equipment, and mechanical engineering. The material withstands temperature fluctuations, vibration, and mechanical stress well, maintaining a stable shape. Furthermore, carbon fiber has a beautiful appearance, making it indispensable in design projects. Using carbon fiber tubing allows for weight reduction and increased efficiency without sacrificing reliability.

View by manufacturing method
A carbon tube is made from carbon fiber and a binder polymer. The process begins with the preparation of carbon filaments, which are impregnated with resin. The fibers are then laid onto a mandrel—a special cylindrical mold. The laying can be longitudinal, spiral, or a combination of both, depending on the required strength characteristics. The tube is then placed in a vacuum bag or autoclave, where the resin cures under heat and pressure. Once cured, the tube is cooled, removed from the mandrel, and, if necessary, machined: trimmed, sanded, or coated with a protective layer. This method ensures high strength, dimensional accuracy, and light weight.
Chemical composition
The main element is carbon (C). The carbon content of fibers is typically 92–99%. Minor impurities may include nitrogen (N), oxygen (O), and hydrogen (H). Epoxy resin is most often used as a binder, the chemical composition of which includes carbon (C), hydrogen (H), oxygen (O), and sometimes nitrogen (N).
Type by purpose
In the aviation and space industries, tubing is used to create load-bearing components and frames where weight reduction is critical. In mechanical engineering and robotics, carbon fiber tubing is used for frames, manipulators, and load-bearing structures. In construction, it is used to reinforce structures and create lightweight architectural elements. It is also widely used in sports: in bicycle frames, fishing rods, arrows, and trekking poles. Furthermore, carbon fiber tubing is used in medicine, instrumentation, and design projects due to its aesthetic appearance and corrosion resistance.
