This standard specifies test methods, material classification, tolerances, dimensions, quality and appearance requirements, marking, test methods, chemical resistance requirements, mechanical and physical properties, tolerances, dimensions, and application areas of the sheets.
ISO 15015:2025 - requirements and test methods for extruded sheets made of high-impact acrylonitrile-styrene copolymers. This standard covers material requirements, dimensions, mechanical and thermal properties, product testing methods, marking, density, hardness, and length and width tolerances for sheets.
ISO 19062-1:2015 - designation system and basis for specifications for ABS-based materials for extrusion and injection molding. This standard serves as the basis for developing specifications and technical requirements for the material and establishes a designation system for ABS grades. It defines the basic properties of the material, its area of application, processing method, designation system, and material identification.
The main international standards for plastic tubing are:
ISO 4427 - Polyethylene pipes for water supply. It establishes requirements for polyethylene pipes, piping systems, fittings, and tubes intended for the transportation of potable and industrial water and the disposal of wastewater under pressure. The standard regulates quality control, marking, welding requirements, durability testing, mechanical property requirements, pressure ratings, dimensions, raw material requirements, materials, and the area of application of the pipes.
ISO 15874 - Polypropylene piping systems for cold and hot water supply. The main international standard for polypropylene pipes, piping systems, and fittings intended for cold and hot water supply within buildings, as well as for heating systems. The standard establishes marking, testing, area of application, connection methods, material requirements, pressure ratings, dimensional ranges, and pipe materials.
ISO 4437 - Polyethylene piping systems for gas supply. This is an international standard establishing requirements for polyethylene pipes, joints, valves, and fittings intended for the transportation of gaseous fuels. This standard covers service life, marking, application area, fitting requirements, hydrostatic testing, pipe connections, mechanical property and raw material requirements, and pipe dimensional ranges.
Major international standards for ABS plastic rods:
ISO 19062-1:2015 - Designation system and basis for specifications for acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) materials. This standard specifies the modulus of elasticity, impact strength, melt flow index, softening point, and application area.
ISO 2580 - Standard defining requirements for acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) plastic material used in molding and extrusion. The standard regulates labeling, impact resistance, heat resistance, mechanical properties, application areas, softening point, chemical composition, test methods, and melt flow.
ISO 10350-1 defines uniform methods for collecting and presenting comparable data on the basic properties of plastics. It establishes property measurement rules, geometry, mechanical and physical properties, application areas, manufacturing methods, delivery forms, and material types.
