Titanium tape VT1-00 0,1х150 mm - is a flat thin material made of high-quality titanium. It is characterized by high strength, lightness, resistance to extreme temperatures and corrosion. First, a blank is made from the ingot — a plate or rod, which is then subjected to hot rolling. The blank is then rolled at a high temperature to reduce the thickness and increase the plasticity of the metal. After cooling, the blank is rolled again, already at a low temperature, to the desired tape thickness — this increases its strength and geometric accuracy. The tape can be subjected to heat treatment (annealing) to relieve internal stress and improve plasticity. After this, the surface is etched, straightened, cut and wound into rolls. If necessary, grinding or polishing is carried out.
